Willa Work partners with clients to develop deep and thoughtful architectural and interior solutions. Our work scales from the smallest details to the overarching concepts.

Our design methodologies are derived from integrating clients’ evolving needs. We design for a clients’s future, not just their present. Our passion is to provide a proverbial garden in which the client can flourish.

Founder and main designer Grey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Reed College and then went on to study architecture at both Columbia University in New York and Sci-Arc in Los Angeles. During her studies she also attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Grey is an avid traveler. Living for 10 years in Los Angeles and working for  well-respected architectural and interior design firms. Grey opened her first studio, Foundation for Architecture and Design, in 2017. In 2021 Grey changed the name to Willa Work after her daughter's middle name, Willa.

In 2020 Grey moved with her family to the quaint Bay Area town of Mill Valley, where the Redwoods meet the sea. She continues to work for clients up and down the West Coast and beyond.

When she is not working, Grey is found in the garden with her three children building whatever they can dream up.

We look forward to building what you can dream up
